Vintage Nevada tickets are now available at Aloha. This event has changed a little, for years it has been a fundraiser for the University of Nevada. It is now being held to help the Boys and Girls Club of Nevada. Not only will there be over 500 wines for tasting, there will be some of the hottest new spirits and internationally renowned ales and lagers to sample. The tasting is at the Reno Event Center on Friday November 11th, from 3PM to 8PM. Tickets purchased at Aloha before the day of the event are $25. Tickets at the door are $45. We can only accept cash or check for the purchase of these tickets. 
 
For many years distillers have added fruit flavors to their specific products, be it brandy, vodka or rum. Recently, whiskey has become the spirit category to be enhanced with fruits, spiced, sweeteners etc. For the past year a cinnamon flavored whiskey 'Fireball' has been, no pun intended, ON FIRE! as well as a few honey infused brands. Their popularity has sparked the category to grow. We currently stock 19 flavored whiskeys with blueberry, orange, honey-pepper, amaretto and spice-box to name a few of the other flavors.  I'm sure there's more to come. 
 
You know the Fall season is here when Evan Williams Egg Nog makes it's way to the store. It has become the favorite of many this time of year and it is always in short supply. If you are hoping to serve this Egg Nog for the holidays, you may want to take my advice on this one, Don't wait! It will be gone.
 
For those of you looking for Halloween or Fall party drinks. We now have two black vodkas, one is berry flavored. Carmel Apple, Gingerbread liqueurs as well as a Pumpkin Pie cream liqueur are also available.
 
If you are not a fan of the bloody mary or a champagne mimosa to go with your Sunday brunch, I have to tell you about the new breakfast drink, Adult Chocolate Milk. It is chocolate milk with a kick. I'm sure the Nesquik bunny never saw this one coming. 
 
Vodka is the number one selling spirit in the United States! Not in the Carson valley, we are whiskey town USA. So we have added some new whiskeys to our selection, Cyrus Noble, Old Bardstown, Leopold Brothers, Willet Bourbon and Willet Rye, Redemption Rye, Glen Moray scotch to name a few. 
 
There are no coupons attached to my letter due to the 100 plus RED TAG sales we recently placed around the store.
